Through the proxy voting process stockholders are able to act as owners of a corporation. Heartland Funds' portfolio managers are responsible for evaluating proxy ballots of the stocks owned by the Funds and for voting in the best interests of our Fund shareholders. This process demonstrates that we take our fiduciary responsibility seriously.
Our proxy voting record is maintained by a third party provider. By clicking on the Proxy Voting Records link below, you will open a new window and be forwarded to their website. To return to the Heartland Funds' website, simply close the new window or use the links at the top or bottom of the proxy voting page.
